Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani

Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (English: This Youth Is Crazy) is a 2013 Bollywood coming-of-age romantic comedy film, directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Karan Johar. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone in lead roles.

 This is their second film together after their 2008 film Bachna Ae Haseeno. Aditya Roy Kapur and Kalki Koechlin play supporting roles. Bollywood diva Madhuri Dixit appears in a dance number with Ranbir Kapoor in this film. Initially set for a March 2013 release, the film was released on May 31, 2013. Upon release, the film received positive to mixed reviews and was a huge box office success.

Kabir Thapar aka Bunny (Ranbir Kapoor) is a carefree boy whose dream is to roam around the world, he doesn't believe in the marital bond. He lives with his father (Farukh Sheikh) and step mother (Tanvi Azmi). Avi (Aditya Roy Kapoor) and Aditi (Kalki Keklan) were his best friends. Avi loves Aditi but he did not say such things regarding the matter. Those three friends planed to visit Manali. Naina (Deepika Padukone) was a medical student and a classmate of Bunny, she wanted a break so she decided to join the trip with those three friends. During the journey they fall in love with each other, even if there is no similarity between them. 

One day Naina tries to express her love infront of Bunny, but at that time it was revealed that he had got scholarship at the University of Chicago. As Bunny is so fond of exploring, he decides not to pass this opportunity so he goes to Chicago. After eight years Bunny returns from Chicago, he meets Naina and all of his friends in a wedding ceremony of Aditi. Again Bunny falls in love with Naina but she stops herself from proceeding as she doesn't want to go anywhere because of her job. The film proceeds and at last Bunny decides to stay with Naina.
